JMP Performance’s latest event – DRIFT NSW.

The first DRIFT NSW event will be held on the 8th of September 2012 at Sydney Motorsport Park (previously Eastern Creek Raceway).

The 180 was stripped and had all windows removed, then the half cage was specifically measured, bent and built to fit. It was then fitted and welded in place.

Once the roll cage was fitted and welded in place it was painted black as requested by the owner.

The S14 is now ready to go track day being held by NSCC at Wakefield this weekend.

Another option in this situation would be to go with a full JMP Performance roll cage with removable side intrusion bars as seen in our previous project – the 300ZX (see below).

As you all know, today we held our debut event – Marulan Time Trial. It was an amazing success and has established exactly what we had hoped for, a strong foundation for future events!

Everyone had a great time and all drivers really enjoyed themselves, even those who may have pushed their cars just a little too far.

Federal Tyres came along with their whole set up including their very helpful crew, tyre changer, compressor and range of tyres for the competitors to check out! They also provided $1000 worth of Tyre Prize Vouchers for our winners! They also showcased the Federal Motorsport Project REX!! Check it out…

We had a very large and interesting range of cars on track and it was great to see such a variety out there. From Ford XM Coupes to Maxda MX5s….

Erin Burns won the ‘Encouragement Award’ for runner up as the most improved time through-out the day.
